Morpho Helanor & Graphium

Morpho achilles is a widespread species found from Colombia, Venezuela and Guyana, south along the astern Andes to Peru and Bolivia.  The beautiful blue bands on the morpho makes for one spectacular species of butterfly. When flying due to the large scale of the wings, you get a more slow speed view which again makes for a beautiful sight.
