Nephila Maculata (Orb Spider)

Nephila maculata is a species of Golden orb-web spider. It resides all over countries in East and Southeast Asia as well as Oceania.

Orb spiders are one spider I just cannot.  I go camping a lot and seeing these guys walking above my head or interpreting me whilst I'm having a 'bush wee' (thanks bluey).  Amazing specimen.

Frame Specs: Situated in a black depth frame measuring 20x25cm on a white background with a copper foiled ouija board.
